From the introduction with the Roman-Byzantine and Arab-produced weights we move on to the weights for the coins of Venice: the gold ducat, the Tron lyre, the Marcellus and the Moceniga, the gold shield and the double, the ducat of silver, the shield of the cross, the Justina Major and Minor, the reduced gold ducat, the new 24 sous ducat, the Napoleonic and Austrian coins. For each coin and its weight, Zavattoni draws up a historical-economic sheet full of news and curiosities, with the description of each weight, indicating the technical characteristics, the shape, the source of production, the era. Each specimen is reproduced in full size and color as well as several coin boxes. The volume ends with a chapter dedicated to books, tariffs and notices.
