The catalog presents a significant collection of Italian coins minted between the years 1000 and 1797, comprising approximately 1,500 pieces. The representation of Florence, Venice, and Tuscany is broad and well-balanced; equally significant are the issues from the Este mints of Ferrara, Modena, and Reggio, as well as the papal mints. Special attention is given to the "scudo" coins and, in a separate section, to the gold quadruple coins, numbering 26 pieces.
