An early work by Luigi Pigorini (1842-1925), founder of the Prehistoric and Ethnographic Museum of Rome, it represents one of his first studies on the feudal mints of the Parma Apennines. An early testament to his scientific training, the text reveals the methodical attention of a scholar destined to become a leading figure in Italian numismatics and archaeology.
