Poster, Notice, Venice 5 January 1861

Notice, To prevent inaccurate interpretations in the Lieutenancy Notification of 29 December n. 10147, in which it is said that both the public coffers and the private individuals will be obliged to receive the six carantani pieces of the convention, equal to 40 soldi of Austrian currency, as legal payment for amounts less than one florin, it is warned that this obligation must to be understood as referring to the payments that have to be made in bank notes, since the six-carantani piece of the convention is considered as the broken one of the bank note of a florin, while at the meeting, in the case of payments in silver, the previous ones remain in force provisions.
