Jatta, Historical outline of the ancient city of Ruvo

Giovanni Jatta, Historical note on the ancient city of Ruvo in Peucezia with the addition of the brief history of the famous battle of the thirteen Italian knights with as many Frenchmen followed in the vicinity of that city on February 13, 1503, by the typography of Porcelli, Naples 1844, pp . 348, ill., 3 splendid tables reproducing the portrait of the author on the front door covered by tissue paper and coins, 30 cm, beautiful half canvas binding with gold titles on the spine.

Work embellished with a long autograph dedication, dated Ruvo di Puglia 29 October 1912, by Giovanni Jatta fu Francesco, descendant of the author, to: “Angelo Sac. Tanzella, chaplain of the Royal Basilica of S. Nicola ”. Elegant bookplate inside the back plate.

Minimal blooms and halo of old, not disfiguring millstone, however it operates in beards and in more than good general conditions. Extremely rare.
