Who we are

Founded in 2012, Biblionumis is the section of the Hydrometry Bibliographic Study entirely dedicated to numismatic books, classified and filed by Dr. Luca Lombardi. The firm is based in the historic center of Terlizzi, in the province of Bari, in the premises of a specially restored 18th century building.

In our catalog it is possible to find texts relating to every area of the science of coins, medals, sphragistics, paper money. There are also categories dedicated to numismatic periodicals, documents and catalogs for sale, auction and fixed price. In the "Varia" category, on the other hand, works on different topics are proposed which can be of great interest for numismatic studies.

From the works of the sixteenth century, to the most recent and updated scientific texts, we deal with publications capable of satisfying the requests of the most demanding collectors and the most prepared scholars. We pay particular attention to works with fine bindings, artistic engravings, prestigious ex libris and new, rare and out of print books.

Extreme care and attention to customers have always been a priority and a founding feature of our business. Starting from the selection of the proposed material and the meticulous description of each single volume, to move on to the assistance provided in all phases of the purchase and to clarity in communication, to reach extreme accuracy in the management of shipments, the love for books and a professional relationship with the customer are at the center in all phases of our work. All the texts are examined with the utmost care before being included in the catalog and described with bibliographic cards that illustrate in detail their characteristics, state of conservation and rarity.

In addition to the sales service, we provide bibliographic and librarianship consultancy, appraisal and appraisal services for individual works or entire libraries.

We buy entire libraries and individual rare texts at the highest market valuations and for cash.
